Happy Birthday Byron

Byron turned 30 years old on March 25th. We had a bunch of family and friends come over to help us celebrate. We had such a good time, playing Wii with friends, roasting marshmallows on the fire and having s'mores, drinking and laughing.

I am so proud of Byron and all that he has accomplished in his 30 years. He is such a wonderful man, husband, father, and best friend. I am so lucky to have found him and our children are so blessed to have him for their father.

Enjoy pictures from the evening!

The cake was actually 4 different cupcakes stacked on top of each other. A friend at work told me about this bakery that makes gigantic cupcakes, and that sounded more fun than a traditional sheet cake.

Swimming Pool....

Haylee has participated in swimming lessons since she was a baby, and we are so happy that we put her in lessons. It gives her a chance to get out of the house, get some exercise, and most importantly, get used to the water and learn to swim. Because she had such a great time going swimming, we knew that we were going to put Carter in swim lessons too. Haylee got a new swimming suit and we got Carter some cute swimming trunks.

Because Carter was 7 months when he started and can't really learn to swim, Byron goes into the water with him and enjoys splashing around.

Take a look at the video of Carter "swimming"

We have teeth...

Carter is getting so big! At the beginning of March (I know, that's a long time ago!) Carter had NO teeth...he now has TWO teeth that are definitely in on the bottom and he is working on his two front teeth! (I'm sure he doesn't want them for Christmas as he is drooling a lot and in some pain from them coming in.) His teeth are pretty big for finally breaking through the gums only 5 weeks ago!
We think he is pretty cute!
